Networking, Interviewing, and Negotiating are important but often overlooked aspects of a job search.

Networking is consistently cited by successful job seekers as the way they found their position. Employers prefer to hire from referrals rather than outside candidates with no connection to the company. A successful interview can improve your chances at winning a job immeasurably, but a bad one can kill them. Believe it or not, you do have options when you are offered a job. You do not need to accept the first offer on the block. Of course, then you have to figure out whether or not you actually want this job....
