Greetings from NIST! The following should provide you with the necessary event details for the SEASAC Touch Rugby at NIST. We hope you enjoy your SEASAC Touch Rugby experience and your time in Bangkok. SEASAC tournaments have a tremendous tradition of high level competition played in a respectful and fair manner and we look forward to this carrying on this year!!

Invitation List
NIST, RIS, UWC D, UWC E, TTS, GIS, MKIS, KLASS, CDNIS, BISJ, BPS, ISY

Field FIFA Certified Artificial All Weather Surface, Touch Field Dimension 60mt x 45mt. Meals Athletes will be offered breakfast at the hotel. Lunches will be available in the NIST cafeteria. Campus Security Coaches will be issued identification badges that should be worn at all times while on the NIST campus. If asked, visiting students should identify themselves as tournament participants offering their schools name. Security of valuables teams must take responsibility for their own valuables please. The Lost and Found will be at the SEASAC Touch Rugby Coordinator table. Hospitality Lounge
NIST is happy to provide a hospitality room for coaches. Breakfast, snack, lunch, refreshments.

Presentation Dinner
The SEASAC presentation dinner will take place at the school. The requested dress code is smart casual. This will involve a buffet dinner and the presentation of awards.

Awards
The medals will be given out at the end of tournament and sportsmanship awards at the dinner / presentations.

Water
Water will be available on the courts for all participants.

Team Pictures
Team pictures will be scheduled sometime during the first day of the championships. Pls. inform the information desk or the photographer when you ready to take your team photo at the information desk.

T-shirts
SEASAC T-shirts will be given out at the information desk.

Medical
A medical team will be on duty throughout the tournament. (It is recommended that teams travel with their own med kits.) An adult from your school must be available to accompany any of your players requiring treatment. Please ensure that the staff can provide all necessary contact details and documents for insurance purposes and have the ability to cover any expenses incurred. The Tournament Director must be notified of any athlete required to leave the campus for treatment.

Showers
There are showering and changing facilities at the NIST Sports Center.

All FIT rules and regulations are in effect with the following SEASAC modifications. Rules of Play 1. Points will be allocated as follows Win 1 points / Loss 0 points 2. In the case of a draw in all games a drop-off will be played. All FIT Laws will be applied with the following SEASAC exceptions. All games are 15 minutes per half with a 5 minute half time. Teams must register at the Control Desk 7 minutes prior to the tap-off for each game and complete the coin toss. Number of participants. Maximum squad size 14 Team colours The first named team shall be the Home Team (dark). In the event of a clash of colours, the second named team shall have to change into an alternative set. All teams are advised to have a second, differently coloured kit available. Tournament Tie-Breakers Head to head result: a. In the case of a drawn match in the head-to-head game or a multi-way tie, the following shall be applied to break the tie: b. Try differential against tied teams; c. Total tries for against tied teams; d. Try differential against all teams; e. Total tries for against all teams; f. Once the first tie-break in a multi-way tie has been resolved, additional ties will be resolved in the same format using the same sequence of procedures beginning with head to head result; g. If all the above cannot resolve the tie, the outcome shall be decided by a race between nominated players of the tied teams, over the length of the field whilst carrying the ball.
