PAYMENTTOTHESTUDENTINTERN Thestudentinternispaid$15/hour.Theywillworkanaverageof10 15hours/weekforaminimumof8weeks.Thetotalawardtothe studentwillnotexceed$2250. EXPECTATIONS
THESTUDENTINTERNWILL: Providegeneralresearchassistancetothe supervisorworkingonaspecificresearch project. Whereofinterest,usesocialmediatools (Facebook,Twitter,etc.)tomakecontactwith otherundergraduateresearchinterns(ICUREUS orotherwise)tosharetheirexperiences. Whereapplicable,toreceiveacademiccredit, completeamajortopicalpaperrelatedtosome aspectoftheresearch. Makethemselvesavailableforaninterviewbya CarletonJournalismstudent;theresultingstory willbeusedforthecurrentyearsICUREUSblog andotherCarletonUniversitypublications. Attheendoftheproject,providefeedbacktoI CUREUSconcerningtheirexperiencewiththeir supervisor/project,andwiththeprogramasa whole.

ELIGIBILITY
TheSpecialAssistanttotheProvostwillreviewallResearchProjectsandStudentApplicantstoconfirmeligibility.
