CHINA HUMANITIES SEMINAR

the

Humanities center
in the Faculty of Arts and Sciences harvard university

Chairs: Mauro Calcagno, Anne Shreffler No longer considered an exclusively musical genre, opera is studied today as a literary, dramatic, and visual phenomenon as well. To create a forum devoted to this most hybrid art, the seminar invites interdisciplinary scholars who cross the boundaries among musicology, theater and film studies, literature, art history, psychoanalysis, cultural and gender studies.
