Please be sure and come with questions, suggestions and reports of successes. Lets encourage one another in our service to Cedar. Fellowship Lunch February 10 is the date of our next fellowship lunch. Each family is asked to bring a pot of soup and either a salad or dessert. There is a sign up for the soup, rolls will be provided. This is always a favorite so please come and join us. See Rebecca Van Dyke with any questions. Progressive Dinner - Our Annual Progressive Dinner will be Saturday, February 16, beginning at 5:00 pm. Please join us for an evening of mixing and mingling. We will start out at with appetizers. From there, we find out where dinner will be served. After dinner, well let you know where to find dessert! What a great way to meet and get to know your brothers and sisters in Christ! God has richly blessed us through these opportunities of fellowship. A signup sheet can be found on the table in the gym where you can let us know how you would like to participate. ANNOUNCEMENTS Youth Group Pando Outing - Junior and Senior High YouthGroup members MARK YOUR CALENDARS for our second annual Pando event. On Friday, February 22 we will meet at 6 p.m. in the Cedar Church parking lot and plan to arrive back at church around 10:30 p.m. Please plan to dress accordingly. The cost of tubing will be covered by the Youth Group Fund, but please plan to bring a small amount of cash if you wish to purchase snacks in the ski lodge. For more info, see Diana Sprik. You can make a difference! Are you looking for a place to volunteer in 2013? Love INC has a variety of enjoyable volunteer opportunities-half days or full days. Loves Treasures Resale Shoppe - More volunteers are needed in the Resale Shoppe prep area on Monday mornings and more cashiers are needed for Loves Treasures Resale Shoppe on Friday mornings and afternoons. Small-Size Products Needed - A variety of small-size products are needed to help supply several outreach ministries. Current items needed are: small shampoos, small toothpastes, toothbrushes, combs, towels and wash clothes (new or used), nightlights, and coloring books. Richard Phillips of Second Presbyterian Church in Greenville, SC will speak on the topic, "The Masculine Mandate God's Calling to Men." All men, young and old, are welcome! For info and registration see insert in todays bulletin. Reformed Theology Conference The Philadelphia Conference on Reformed Theology will be held at Byron Center 1st CRC March 15-17, 2013. This years topic is In The Beginning: Adam, God, and You. Speakers are Dr. Joel Beeke, Rev. Kevin DeYoung, Dr. Jon Payne, Dr. Richard Phillips, and Dr. Derek Thomas.
