Governor John Kasich Riffe Center, 30th Floor 77 South High Street Columbus, OH 43215 25 January 2013 Mr.

Zachary Roberts 928 Spruce Drive Springfield, OH 45504 Governor Kasich: I am the host of a YouTube news show, Liberal News, and I am writing today to inform you that you have been chosen as the Worst Politician of the Week for the week of January 20January 26, 2013. You have been picked by our select committee for suggesting the dividing of Ohios Electoral College votes to favor Republican scum, like yourself. In 1976, Ohio granted all 25 of its Electoral College votes to Jimmy Carter, a Democrat. In 1980, Ohio granted all 25 of its Electoral College votes to Ronald Reagan, a Republican. In 1984, Ohio granted all 23 of its Electoral College votes again to President Reagan. In 1988, Ohio continued its Republican history by granting all 23 Electoral College votes to George Bush, Senior. In 1992, and in 1996 Ohio granted all 21 of its Electoral College votes to Bill Clinton, a Democrat. Then, in 2000 and 2004, Ohio granted all 21 of its Electoral College votes to George W Bush, a Republican. In 2008, Ohio gave 20 votes to Barack Obama, a Democrat. In 2012, Ohio gave 18 votes again to President Obama. So what does that mean, Mr. Kasich? Ohio is a key swing state! No candidate, Republican or Democrat can win the election without controlling the state of Ohio, and because of Ohios ever changing political lean, Republicans could very well win Ohio again in 2016 I certainly hope not, because the Republican party is in turmoil and in need of serious readjustment. But I digress, you have joined the list of many Republican Governors who have hinted at granting Electoral College votes by district, not winner takes all, as it has been in Ohio since the founding of the electoral process. Governor, I am hoping that you are not stupid enough to attempt this legislation. Why would it make sense for a candidate, say, Mitt Romney, to lose the states popular vote, but win most of the states Electoral College votes? It is deplorable to suggest this idea. If Ohioans really wanted Gerald Ford (1976), Jimmy Carter (1980), Walter Mondale (1984), Michael Dukakis (1988), George HW Bush (1992), Bob Dole (1996), Al Gore (2000), John Kerry (2004), John McCain (2008), and Mitt Romney (2012), wouldnt you expect a majority of Ohioans to vote for them? Yes! If Ohioans truly wanted these candidates we would see a majority vote favoring these candidates! But we dont see that! We see Ohioans electing who they want with a majority vote. Sometimes its a Republican, sometimes its a Democrat! Why should we rig our electoral process to favor Republicans, when Ohio HAS elected Republicans in the past? This proposed legislation shows that you dont care about Ohioans voting rights and decision making abilities. The gerrymandered districts you approved demonstrate that as well. But, as a

Liberal, I am willing to overlook the gerrymandered districts that favor Republicans, but I am not willing to overlook rigging our electoral process. What could possess John Kasich, with a 38% approval rating, to deny Ohioans the right to vote and elect the leader they have chosen? Remember when Ohioans voted for you, John? Ohioans chose you over beloved governor Ted Strickland. Unfortunately for you, re-election looks slim for you, with first time voters, like myself, ready to kick your sorry ass out of office. Time and time again you have proven that you dont care about teachers, firefighters, police officers, unions, and now voters? You are truly a despicable human being. If you proceed with this legislation, you should expect fiery protests and petitions (we know youre used to that!). I surely wouldnt pass this legislation with a Primary coming up, thats for sure. In an ideal world, I wont even see your name disgracing my ballot in November of 2014. That would be a wonderful feeling! If you proceed with this legislation, I will personally rally the troops and picket your office building and shit on your car. I will personally knock on every door in Ohio and have registered voters petition your horrible judgment. And youd better believe that I will work my skin to the bone for whoever should challenge you in the gubernatorial election. I will make it my lifes work to make sure that in 3 years we have a new Governor presiding over the electoral process in Ohio. And that is why your scummy ass has been chosen as the worst politician of the week. Your reward comes in two glorious parts: Your official photo being urinated on (see the video at the link enclosed!!) The enclosed certificate congratulating you on your failure

Hating You,
