Report, shoot and edit using Panasonic P2 and Final Cut Pro. Write scripts and anchor the 6:30 & First Edition newscast at noon and critiquing it following each cast.

Intern- Reporter/Field Producer January 2011-May 2011 UF News Bureau Gainesville, FL Produce news stories that highlight the University of Floridas research for release to national and local media. Produce live shots with university experts for national media like CNN, NBC, CBS, ABC, ESPN, Yahoo Sports, etc. Worked side by side with veteran journalists who shared the importance of storytelling.
Producer, Anchor & Contributing Reporter September 2008-October 2010 WRUF-AM & WUFT-FM Gainesville, FL Produced news minutes throughout the day and anchored the hour-long Front Page on The Air Newscast at 4 pm. Served as assignment editor for radio news coverage. Conduct interviews in the field and over the phone and cutting sound bites for my stories and wraps.

Intern June 2009- August 2009 WTVJ-TV NBC 6 Miami/Ft. Lauderdale Miramar, FL Served as one of the writers for the Producers of the 6 PM, 7 PM, and 11 PM newscast. Went out into the field with reporters and interviewed people to produce my own packages. Assisted the Executive Producer with supers, creating graphics through Arthouse, and working with iNews to create the newscasts rundown. LEADERSHIP Event Chair January 2003 May 2010 American Cancer Societys Relay For Life Pembroke Pines & Gainesville Work with my co-chair to coordinate and plan the annual Relay For Life event at University of Florida. Provide Team Captains with assistance and planning for the event, and help lead the effort in raising $118,000. Oversee all 12 committees, which coordinate the planning of a successful event.
