Objective for Team Leadership - Community General Objective: At the end of team leadership, the members, with the

supervision of the Clinical Instructor will be able to: 1. Develop and apply basic knowledge, skills and attitude in the care and management of clients in the community 2. Deliver safe and quality health service 3. Apply the nursing process in rendering nursing care to clients in the community Specific Objectives 11 Key Areas of Nursing Responsibilities 1.Safe and Quality Nursing Care -Perform different nursing procedures and techniques in the care of clients in the community Team Leader Orientation to members with the physical set up, rules and regulations, roles and function as well as the different personnel Strict supervision to members in performing quality health service delivery Daily checking of members paraphernalia for completeness and proper functionality Constant reminder to members regarding waste disposal and segregation and teaching it to the community Guidance and supervision of members in using alternative resources Gather the community to discuss the problems Members Familiarization of the different personnel and other members of the healthcare team Application of the ideal/ proper techniques in the performance of different nursing procedures Ensure complete set of paraphernalia needed Application and demonstration of measures in proper waste disposal and segregation and teaching it to to community Obtain resources if unavailable that can be used as alternatives Active participation Impart knowledge Method of Evaluation Performance evaluation Quizzes
