Controlling the performance of utility units as Nitrogen production, De-mineralization, steam generation, condensate treatment, cooling water & raw water filtration. Evaluating chemical treatment program for the cooling towers and steam generation unit. Commissioned and start-up of the refinery fire water system. Develop P&IDs, equipment specifications process control philosophy for new projects. Issuing technical daily reports summarizing the upsets of the different operting units, its cause and technical recommendation to solve this problem. Monitoring the wastewater treatment unit (API separators, DAF system , Biological treatment and clarification ) parameters to be within the law limits and solving the operation problems raised to keep the unit under good control. Control the kerosene Merox unit parameters to be within the required targets, adjusting CF-Marox injection rate, monitor the clay filter pressure drop, supervise clay loading , salt & clay consumption rates. Develop computerized historical data and operating trends for the unit key parameters using Macro program and excel spreadsheets. Technical evaluation for the refinery chemical tender starting from preparation of tender documents , bid evaluation clasrification, negotiation and final bidder selection.
