Assessing deterioration mechanisms, corrosion monitoring and investigation of failures to establish inspection frequencies and /or corrective actions to prevent recurrence. Carry out integrity inspection and testing activities as per inspections and integrity management programs and plans. Conducting inspection/survey of facilities, using various inspection techniques including visual inspection, NDT, etc. Evaluates and records findings, accepting or rejecting inspected components according to their criticality such as elbows, tees, HAZ, reducers, dead-ends, butt welds, fittings, straight pipe, etc. in consultation with the assigned Senior Inspection Engineer. Follow up the Inspection findings during previous turn-around surveys, for finalization of shutdown work lists. Monitoring and inspecting execution of repairs and modifications, and performs relevant testing prior to final acceptance by Inspection Superintendent Performing all internal inspection for the static equipment (vessels, tanks, and heat exchangers) Preparing Shut down Package Includes (Isometric & Piping and instrument diagram & Material Traceability). Follow up and manage pressure relief valves (PSV's) inspection activities (pop test, leak test and set pressure calibration). Issues inspection reports and certificates if applicable, on successful completion and verification of the work done in line with statutory requirements and approved policies and procedures. Follow daily work schedule and instructions received from the Senior Inspection Engineer. Witness hydrostatic and pneumatic tests of equipment and piping. Sharing in P-RBI (PETRONAS Risk Based Inspection) software data gathering & entering, Risk assessments, corrosion loops and implementation. Ensuring that all inspection and testing is completed according to specific instructions, applicable work methods and procedures, and in compliance with QHSE standards Facilitates Inspection activities in the assigned area. Obtains required PTWs. Complies with all company Health, Safety & Environmental policies and procedures
