Renewing A Merchant Mariner Credential

Welcome to the NMC renewal website. Here you will find information in regards to renewing your license or what we now refer to as a Merchant Mariner Credential. One of our most recent changes is the requirements of all US Mariners to have a TWIC. In order to avoid delays in obtaining your credential we have developed a checklist to help you complete this process. Please review the checklist to ensure that you do not miss or leave anything out of your application. Your application must be submitted (mailed) to a REC and not to the National Maritime Center.
