Medical Reimbursement :

i) Only confirmed employees who are on the time pay scale only are covered under the scheme
for extension of medical reimbursement benefits.
ii) The maximum reimbursement per year for an employee shall be limited to one-month basic
pay of the employee per annum.
iii) The claim for medical reimbursement for self and family can be made once for the quarters of
January to March, April to June, July to September and October to December in the next
month of the quarters i.e., April, July, October and January. Family shall mean and include
spouse, dependent children and dependent parents.
iv) Employees have to ensure that their claim reaches the HR department on or before 20th of
April, July, October or January in respect of previous quarters and these dates shall be known
as standard dates for processing of claims of medical reimbursement.
v) The claim for reimbursement of expenses on medical treatment for self and family shall be
submitted only along with the prescription issued by the attending Medical Practitioners and
bills for the expenditure incurred. Incomplete claims shall be returned to the employees
without being processed and the employees can re-submit them only on the standard dates of
processing of claims of medical reimbursement.

Leave Travel Concession (LTC):
i) Only all confirmed employees who are on the time pay scale only and who have completed
one year of continuous service are eligible for Leave Travel Concession once in a block of two
calendar years subject to production and verification of cash receipts for journeys undertaken.
ii) The claim for reimbursement is restricted to the actual cost of travel subject to a maximum of
one month basic for the travel undertaken from the place of work of the employee to his/her
hometown or any other place in India by the shortest route and back for himself/herself and
members of his/her family. Family includes spouse, dependent children and dependent
parents.
iii) Claims for LTC are to be submitted in the prescribed form. Employees may avail of a
maximum of 80% of the eligible amount as advance and have to submit the bills within ten
days of the date of reporting to duty.

Social Security:

Contributory Provident Fund

i) All employees who are on the time pay scale are eligible for contributory provident fund as
per the provisions of the Provident Fund Act, 1952
ii) The employer’s contribution will be limited to 12 percent of Basic Pay plus Dearness
Allowance.

E.S.I Applicability of the Employee State Insurance Act, wherever enforced by


the Government Authority, employees drawing Gross salary of less than
Rs.10,000/-per month shall be covered under E.S.I Scheme as per Rules &
Regulations.

Gratuity

All employees who are on the time pay scale of the REMEDY and have been in continuous
service for five years and above shall be eligible for Gratuity as per the provisions of The
Payment of Gratuity Act, 1972.
