Genetic Counseling

Genetic Counselors at PacGenomics are health care professionals with specialized education, training, and experience in medical genetics. Genetic counseling helps you understand and adapt to the implications of genetic contributions to disease, and help you make an informed decision about you medical situation. Genetic Counselors work with medical personnel such as physicians and genetic laboratory directors to interpret the results of your genetic testing. Depending on the complexity of your case, genetic counseling sessions normally take from 45 to 60 minutes in length. A Genetic Counselor will be available to you via phone or in person to review your test results and answer all of your questions.
