Distinguish between grade 316 and 316L

Stainless steel grade 316 and 316L (The property can be seen below) is two kinds of steel that contains molybdenum. The content of molybdenum of 316L is a little higher than 316s. Welding: Stainless steel grade 316 has good performance of welding that can employ every standard welding method to proceed soldering. Different methods, like welding by 316Cb, 316L and 309Cb stainless steel padding bar or welding rod, can be employed according to specific application. In order to acquire the best corrosive resistance performance, steel welding section of grade 316 should proceed annealing after welding. Theres no need to for the heat-treatment after welding if it is stainless steel grade 316L.
