[LEARN TO DRAW A BOTTLE BY 3D SKETCH & LOFTED BOSS PART 2]

1. Creating Offset 2D Sketch for Base of Bottle 1. 2. 3. Open a Bottle.sldprt, and in the Feature Manager design tree, select the Top plane. Click Plane on Feature Toolbar.

In the FeatureManager design tree, under Selection:

Set Distance

to 2.9.

Select Reverse Direction.

Click OK

Select Panel3 in FeatureManager design tree, right click then select Insert Sketch

Click Bottom

on the Standard View Toolbar

Click base of the bottle part, then click Offset Entities

In the FeatureManager design tree, under Parameter:

Set Distance Select Reverse.

to 1.5.

Click OK on the Standard View Toolbar. on the Standard View Toolbar, then Click Exit Sketch

10. Click Isometric 11. Click Wireframe

Click Spline bottle.

Sketch a two point spline coincident between the mid point of Sketch2 and mid point of base

Repeat step 3 for three side edges.

Click Centerline

on the Sketch toolbar, and sketch horizontal perpendicular line

coincident endpoint to endpoint at Plane3

Click Add Relation

on the Dimension/Relation Toolbar.

On the graphic area, select Spline & Construction Line

In the Property Manager, under Add Relations, Click Tangent

Repeat step 8 with the other spline and the adjacent construction line, then click OK

10. Click Isometric

, and click Shaded With Edges

, then Click Exit Sketch

3. Creating Base Bottle by Lofted Boss

Click Lofted Boss

on the Feature Toolbar.

Right-click in the graphics area and choose SelectionManager.

In the SelectionManager, click Select Closed Loop Select the Sketch3 for Profiles and click .

1. In Toolbar Menu, select Insert, Feature, Dome


2. In the Property Manager, under Parameters:

Select Face<1> in Face to Dome Set Distance to 2

Click Reverse Direction Unselect Continuous dome
