Aims
• To encourage all students to develop a sense of pride and worth in themselves.
• To foster a corporate sense of identity amongst students in the Bishop Challoner
community.
• To foster a sense of year group identity amongst students.
• To enable students to understand how to dress appropriately at school and prepare
themselves for the world of work.
Bishop Challoner Catholic Collegiate School sets high standards of work, uniform and
behaviour. Students are judged by the wider community by the way they wear their uniform
and their behaviour while wearing uniform
P.E. Uniform
• Tracksuit from Khalsa.
• Navy shorts - Trutex SRR001
• Year Polo Shirt (same colour as year blouse)
• White plimsolls or trainers (not boot style)
• White Ankle Socks
• Wash kit (Flannel, Soap, Towel, Roll-on Deodorant in a plastic container)
All PE kit to be name tagged or embroidered
• Plain black cloth coat or anorak (no logos, no fur, no leather, no denim, no full length).
• Green blazer with badge
• Black trousers Y7 – Y13
• Plain green jumper – V neck
• Year shirt Y7 = White
Y8 = Grey
Y9 = Green
Y10 = Beige
Y11 = Blue
School tie – green and Year colour
• Black shoes (no boots, no open-toes sandals), black socks.
P.E. Uniform
Please note:
• Trainers must not be worn with school uniform. This includes travelling to and
from school.
• Denim and leather jackets are NOT allowed
• Trousers are not part of the uniform for girls
• One pair of studs or small sleepers are acceptable for girls
• A watch may be worn
• Facial and body piercings are not allowed
• Any jewellery worn apart from the above may be confiscated by any member of
staff and kept until end of term.
• The wearing of makeup is not allowed by boys or girls
