The Swinging 60s to the Normal 90s

Hats varied from all shapes and sizes and gloves could be either long or short to add to the sophistication of a dress. Heels or oxfords wrapped up the look. Hair was generally short and curled to perfection in loose vintage curls with added volume. Blue jeans were vaguely introduced and were worn on some occasions. Mens hair was often parted and slicked to the side opposite of the part. Hats were also just as common for men as for women. To most, the fashion of the 50s is considered conservative and elegant. ow-a-days everyone has a fashion statement, a line of clothes that expresses the lifestyle of every individual. Most will try to catch up with the fashion trends that come and go throughout the seasons. For those who have a poor taste in fashion, music, and books, here are the top trending fashion and entertainment tips for 2012. Even though the hot summer days have passed, it doesnt mean that you cant keep up with the top fashion trends. All you have to do is dig out the patterned tights with the compact boots and slip them on with a solid colored dress. Add a jean jacket or leather (biker) jacket and make a fashion statement. Dont forget to nish that look with a cross-body bag. If dresses arent your style, than tight jeans with baggy sweaters or long cardigans paired with a scarf and boots is the right t for you. For Marlene Sanchez (14), her summer fashion statement this year was a plaid button-up shirt with a purple lace undershirt and denim shorts with brown leather boots. She nished up the look with wavy curls. On the other hand, others appreciate music much more than fashion for many reasons because they can relate to it. Others just live for the beat of the music like Franky Trujillo (14), who lives for the epic drum solos in heavy metal music. Here are some of 2012s new Top 100 songs to rock out to in your iPod: the new single, Hall Of Fame featuring Will.i.am from the Irish rock band The Script is sure to motivate you into being the you that you want to be, because it doesnt matter who you are, you are a champion if you try! Other songs to look out for are: Want You Back, Cher Lloyd; Feel Again, OneRepublic; We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together, Taylor Swift, Everybody Talks, Neon Trees; Shes So Mean, Matchbox Twenty; and Call Me Maybe, Carly Rae Jepsen. Beyond the obsession for music, for those who nd books far more interesting than fashion and music, than this section is just for you. There are a few books that may catch ones interest...maybe checking them out before the movies are released would be a good idea. The movie to The Hobbit is to be released December 14, 2012 while The Great Gasby is to hit theaters around May of 2013. This will give everyone enough time to read and catch up on the books before the movies are released. Other books that are trending this year are The Hunger Games, The Help, and Fifty Shades of Grey.
