Agenda Student Welfare 1. Dylan Medical Condition : liver 2. Adrian Aliaga Mum not happy about medical plan. Glynnis top speak to mum about consequences for plan and no play. Report back to meeting next week. 3. Twins Darcy and Logan Parents are separated. Please be mindful of emotional issues. Curriculum 1. Maths Assessment Schedule : Teachers to have test data completed by week 8, covering term one content . 2. Maths groups are to commence week 4. 3. Mondays Maths group session has been shortened due to strand allocation. It is now 11:30 12:20, rather than 11:30 12:40. 4. Assessment Strategies will be left up to the individual teacher involved as they will be writing the reports. Year 1 will be using the best start continuum and are currently trying to retrieve the data from ERN. Year 2 will be using an indicator matrix, designed by Rob, to track students through observations and anecdotal records.

5. Literacy Assessment : Jill to send a Rob a digital copy of the writing assessment rubric for stage 1. This will be used as a guide to program, ass and evaluate both student and stage progression, whilst also targeting highlighted areas of need. Still a work in progress.

General : 1. Meet the parents Note discuss and alter. Alterations made. Please see attached file. 2. Medical forms and updated information Please encourage teachers to communicate with the front office on medical issues. 3. Assembly : Alterations and updates. Reward system and award handouts. Jen has gone through ad updated the format with Donna accepting the alterations. Please see attached document for more information though I must stress, it is a DRAFT. 4. Homework Sheets Homework sheets were altered with year 1 and year 2 completing different sheets. Year 1 will be altered by Glynnis whilst Rob will make jointly discussed changes to year 2. 5. Police Visit Debbie Crystal will be called by Rob in relation to a visit this term to ES1 and Stage 1. 6. Notes : All notes (blue bags) are to go through the office and not the classroom. 7. Books Which book for which strand? Each teacher makes their own decision on what books are used for what strand.. 8. L3 Meeting tomorrow from 12pm onwards. Casuals to cover participating teachers. 9. ERN Print of best start numeracy continuum to continue on from ES1. Rob 10.Excursions Beth has organised an incursion, Grans Bag for 19th March, 2013. ES1 and Stage 1 to attend. Term 2 excursion to Cumberland State Forest currently under investigation by Beth.
