January 01, 2013 Our attention has been drawn by certain members of the public that certain individuals or recruitment organizations or agencies are misleading job applicants by claiming themselves to be employees of Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd. (the Company) or as authorized job/recruitment agency of Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd. They are also wrongfully using the Company's registered brand name and fake letter head as well as using the names and forging the signatures of certain senior officials of the Company to lure innocent members of the public to fall into this trap. We further understand that they are misguiding the candidates/applicants by giving forged communications to deposit certain amount of money in certain specified bank(s) upon receipt of an offer Letter sent by them. Please note that these are fake job offers and communications are made with intend to defraud the public. At no stage those recruited by Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd. are requested or required to pay any amount to the Company. Further, Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd. is not obliged or bound to honor any job assurances made through such fraudulent / forged means, and in no way the Company shall be responsible or liable to any person affected by such fraudulent / forged communications. Anyone dealing with such an agency/organization/individual will be doing so at his/her own risk and the Company will not be held responsible or liable for such loss or damage suffered directly or indirectly. It may be noted that for any vacancies at Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd. generally, are announced using advertisements and web banners in leading publications and our career portals (http://www.sunpharma.com/Job.do) across the globe. Further a thorough recruitment process will have been conducted in person before any offers of employment are made. We urge the public not to be misled by such communications purportedly made by Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd. including through e-mails. Note these e-mails may be 'spoofed mails' and candidates/applicants are requested to take due care to validate the authenticity of the source of the e-mail. In case you or any of your friends or acquaintances receives such spoofed mails or any other form of communications , or job offer in any other manner , please do not pay/deposit money. But in the event there was already a payment made, you may lodge a complaint with the nearest police station at your jurisdiction so that necessary action can be taken against the imposters.
