Course Policies: Assignments, Quizzes, and Exams Quizzes may be given at any time during a class session. If you miss a quiz because you are late then you will miss the quiz forever. All quizzes and exams have to be taken. There would be no re-take of any exam. Tentative dates for the assignments (assigned dates), quizzes, and exams are given in the following class schedule. You would be responsible to collect your assignments from the resource drive/blog on time. Late assignments would be accepted with 20% penalty if submitted by the next class, 50% penalty if submitted later but within a week from the assigned date. No assignment would be accepted after a week. Missed quizzes and exams You will get a zero in a quiz if you miss it. There is absolutely no scope of make-up for missed quizzes under any circumstances. Make-up exams taken within one week of the regular exam will account for 85% marks instead of 100%. Similarly, make-up exams taken after one week of the regular exam will account for only 75% marks instead of 100%. However, a student may sit for a make-up exam just once. Make-up exams are usually more difficult than the regular exams, thus should be avoided. Class Schedule Lec.
