RULES AND GUILDELINES

1. Series is open to anyone who pays their entry fees. Members or non-members of
PRC.

2. A one-time $25/per rider series entry fee paid must be paid by anyone who would
like to run for the Saddle. Anyone may enter the PRC races without paying the $25
registration fee and compete for day money. A rider will not be considered eligible
for the saddle & prizes points until the $25 registration fee has been paid.

3. This series will be approved first by BCBRA (British Columbia Barrel Racing Association), and co-approved by BRN4D
(Barrel Racers National 4D) and the CBR (Canadian Barrel Racing). All races will run under the BCBRA rules as that is the
first approving/sanctioning association.

4. Only the OPEN RACE will count toward the saddle series.

5. Eligible race dates are the following Sundays:
a. April 28, 2013 After Gymkhana (approx. 3pm)
b. May 26, 2013 After Gymkhana (approx. 3pm)
c. June 30, 2013 Canada Day - Double Header (2 separate races)
d. July 1, 2013 Canada Day - Double Header (2 separate races)
e. July 28, 2013 After Gymkhana (approx. 3pm)
f. August 25, 2013 After Gymkhana (approx. 3pm)
g. September 22, 2013 After Gymkhana (approx. 3pm)

And so on down so every rider earns 1 point for entering

7. There is no a minimum or maximum number of races to attend. It will be up to the riders to get as many points as possible
over the seasons 10 races and the rider with the most points wins. The more races entered the higher the potential to earn
points. All PRC Races will count including any possible dates added as the season progresses

8. Points will be accumulated on a rider. But a rider may register more that one horse to be eligible for prizes. A rider may ride
as many horses as they choose. If a rider places on more that one horse, the riders highest placing horse will be horse #1; the
second highest placing horse will be horse #2 and so on.

9. Highpoint at end of series will win the saddle. There will be five runner-up prizes for 2
nd
to 6
th
place finishers in the Series.
Saddle and any other prizes will be awarded at the end of the last race. Winners must be present to receive saddle or prizes
will go to the next riders in line. Winners must be in full western attire for sponsor photos or saddle and/or other prizes will
go to the next rider in line. Western attire will be based on the BCBRA rules including a long sleeve shirt, hats, jeans etc.
