Choice of education in Pakistan Education plays a vital role in persons life.

Since the very beginning the education has been considered as a major part of ones life. It doesnt only help a person to lead a successful life but also teaches manners. Pakistan since freedom has encouraged its citizens to get education. Unfortunately it has never succeeded in doing so. The literacy rate here is less than 40%. This shows the complete failure of education system. Its not the lack of good teachers or books that is causing failure of education system. Its poor governance that has brought Pakistan to this stage Said Imran Khan, chairman of a famous political party in Pakistan. Ignoring the illiterate part, education specialists are not happy with the outcomes of our education system. Despite increase in the passing number of students yearly, scholars are unhappy with the results. No doubt, students are passing with higher marks but their skills are unsatisfactory. Education in Pakistan has become a race. Students minds are molded in such a way that they start to focus on getting top position rather than gaining knowledge. Talking about the choice of education its a pity to know that choice is not made according to a specific pupils mind. The choice is made based on societys trends. Rare cases are found in Pakistan where students make their own choice. The reason behind this is our culture. Our culture gives all the rights to parents which is a good thing in some cases but harmful in many cases. Because of their mind set, students remain naive. They dont have power to make a decision for their future. Currently there are three different education systems in Pakistan. They include English medium, Urdu medium and religious education also known as mudarassas. This is another major drawback of our education system leaving a limited choice to students. Such system limits the students to make a choice for better future. Keeping in mind all these facts, we should force our government for stable and same education system. Parents must bring up their children in a way that they could take decision themselves. If we succeed in doing this, we can become among the happy nations of the world.
