Script and scenes sequences Act I Scene I Jean Valjean enter with two constable presenting him to the

bishop which they believed that he stole the silverware in his bag. But the bishop instead telling the truth denies that the silverware is stolen, instead he told the constable that it is his gift of him to Valjean for he is his friend. Two Constable enters together with Valjean in chain. Bishop after denying the truthful accusation of the Constables Bishop in his mass vestment say the following to Valjean Song: Bishop: But remember this, my brother See in this some higher plan You must use this precious silver To become an honest man By the witness of the martyrs By the Passion and the Blood God has raised you out of darkness I have saved your soul for God!

Fantine work as a factory worker in Madeleine (Valjean) factor to support her child Cossette in the care of the Thenardier. She is also hated in the factor by all the girls and wanted her to be out of her work. Until such time she was discovered that she has a child out of wed luck. The factory caretaker dismissed her in her job for this reason. The same reason as well that Fantine sale everything from the chair in her house to her hair for 10 francs and till the moment she is selling her own body as one among the prostitutes.

Fantine: entered in a prostitute dress and trimmed hair. She is ill and pale for she is sick and near to her death.

Act I Scene III Javert was in great dismay that the man he thought M. Madelaine (Valjean) is 24601 was now in court and waiting for his sentenced of perpetual imprisonment. However Valjean is bothered by his concise and cannot accept that an innocent man will take over his passed life and suffer forever in prison. So Valjean decided to appear in the court and tell that truth that he is prisoner 24601 a convict who broke his parole several years ago. This is also the time Fatine is in her moment of death and so near to her end. Valjean and Javert meet face to face in the hospital for 19 years Javert searching for him and till this time he was found. The had a fight, however since Valjean ask Javert another chance for he has to finished what he promised to the death bed of Fatine to take care of her child Cossette, he Valjean able to escape. Valjean after escaping in the hands of Javert in the hospital an able to find Cossette fetching a pail of water in the woods as she was ordered so of M. Thenardier. However when Valjean was traveling towards the north gate of Paris a checkpoint is conducted by the police in search for them. Javert in failure to find and bring back Valjean in prison mend his depression in soliloquy.

Marius with Eponine walking in the streets when he saw a beautiful lady not far from where they are standing. That lady was Cossette, Marius because of his eagerness to know the name of this lady ask favour to Eponine to find where they leave. Since Eponine knew Cossette very well for the share the childhood together located their home and tell Marius about it.

Marius enters with Eponine and Cossette Song

Valjean forbid Cossette and Marius meeting, Valjean never like Marius for Cossette, so he bring Cossette far from Marius to Paris. And Marius ask Eponine to bring a letter to Cossette while they are in the baracade fighting for freedome.

Act II SceneII Marius ask Eponine to bring a letter to Cossette, Eponine dress like a boy in the street of Paris wondering. Eponine enters in a boy attire.

Act II Scene III Valjean took his flight away from Cossette because he will face his sentenced for he was once prisoner 24601. He stay away in a convent and there he waits for the time of his death to come.Valjean enters in white , lonely and pale and so weak. But Maruis an able to know where he is together with Cossette they fly to where he is. And in his side Cossite and Marius stayed.

Take me now Take me there Bring me home Bring me home VALJEAN, FANTINE, EPONINE Take my hand And lead me to salvation Take my love For love is everlasting And remember The truth that once was spoken To love another person Is to see the face of God.

Final Scene: Enters Cossette, Valjean, Fantine, Eponine, Marius, Javert do you hear the people sing Lost in the valley of the night? It is the music of a people who are climbing to the light.
