The title of the book that teaches how to speak on strategy entitled Ministry School. This book has no particular author/s but the Watchtower Bible School of Gilead is the brain of this book. This book was released by the Watchtower Bible and Tract Society of New York, Inc. in Brooklyn, New York, U.S.A. This book was designed to enhance the ability to communicate through speaking because the book said that the ability to communicate effectively is an art. The features of the school are a weekly program of reading, study, and research, instruction in public reading and in the arts of speaking and teaching, participation in class discussion, opportunities to give presentations and personal assistance to help you progress. The skills that are given attention are listening and remembering, personal reading, studying, doing research, analyzing and organizing, conversing, answering questions, and putting thoughts down in writing. One strategy that stated in the book is the Extemporaneous Delivery. This strategy is effective to the Michaeleans future students because it is the most effective way to hold the interest of and motivate an audience. An important advantage of extemporaneous delivery is that you will be speaking in the down-to-earth manner to which people most readily respond. The students delivery will be more lively and thus more interesting to their audience. This method of speaking also allows their selves to have maximum visual contact with their listeners, which improves their communication with them. Since they do not rely on notes for the wording of every sentence, their listeners will be more inclined to feel that they know their subject well and that they sincerely believe what they are saying. Thus, this type of delivery lends itself to a warm, conversational presentation, a real heart-to-heart talk. This extemporaneous speaking also has potential pitfalls. One of this is the overconfidence, especially for experienced speakers. Having become accustomed to speaking publicly, some may find that it is not difficult to throw together some ideas, and fill the allotted time. Perhaps of greater concern to many speakers who are not experienced in extemporaneous delivery is that they might forget what they wanted to say. And lastly, other speakers allow excessive concern about wording to hold them back. True, an extemporaneous talk may not have the choice wording and grammatical precision of a manuscript talk, but an appealing conversational style more than compensates for that. Extemporaneous delivery exposes the theories in speaking that it must be communicative and interactive. It is communicative because the speaker are just like having a natural way of conversation to his audience and it is interactive because the speaker delivering his speech through public talk and speaking or in a face-to-face manner.
