The Indochine Survey Joint-Stock Company (InS) was established by a group of


over 10-year experienced Vietnamese surveyors and came into existence on 21 st May
2008.

The firm has always been predominantly in the Indochine area.

The firm regularly accepts assignments in Europe, Mediterranean, North & West
Africa, Middle East, West & East Coasts of India, Myanmar, Thailand, Malaysia,
Vietnam, China, Indonesia, Philippines, Japan, Papau New Guinea, Australia and
New Zealand.

In order to fulfill the assignments, the firm employs on a full time basis a team of
highly qualified personnel for the eight main areas of activity, namely:

- Damage Survey of Import and Export Cargo.


- Survey on Hull and condition survey.
- P & I Survey.
- Cargo Survey & Settling Agent for foreign Insurance Companies.
- Correspondents for foreign Insurance Companies and Protection and
Indemnity Clubs world-wide.

The firm is headed by Mr. Trinh Tien Dung who has been over 10-year surveyors as
the Chief of Marine Division. Since 1997, he has always had a wealth of experience
on the Vietnamese marine survey aspect. He is ably assisted by the Ship Repair &
Maintenance Company (SMC), a famous brand name company in Vietnam and by
highly qualified full time surveyors and technical personnel.

SCOPE OF SERVICES
1. CARGO SURVEY AGENT:

- To advise the clients of necessary legal procedures. To reserve their right to


claim the third parties.
- To arrange of cargo survey, and to assess the extents and the cause of
damage sustained to the cargo, to issue survey report.
- To organize salvage sales of damaged cargo.
- To organize the measures to prevent and minimize loss or damage.

2. SETTLING AGENT:

- Settling fee and sundry expenses shall be as per Lloyds’ scale fees.

As a correspondent for P&I Clubs worldwide:

liability with the quay, buoy, fish nets and other vessel/ boats causing the
loss to human being, property and oil pollution.
• To carry out pre-survey for averting and minimizing the loss to cargo/
vessel.
• Assisting lawyers as necessary.

high pressure pumps, performance check (check pressure of
combustion chamber) etc.
+ Assure that necessary spare parts are identified, inventoried
and order.
+ Improving or correction.
+ Carry out bunkering and any service of pumping.
+ Can plan the job and make report job done.
