Our stoves are designed to extract the energy out
of every gram of wood loaded into them and
,
deliver it as warmth to your home, by achieving a
controlled combustion that minimizes really high
temperature gases, which would otherwise be lost ,
and wasted to the environment through large flues
and non optimized flow of combustion gases.
..
Controlled Primary Air enters the stove through
the bottom air slider and is directed at the heart of ,
,
the fire, creating a turbulent mix of combustible
.
gases.
This optimizes the burning of anthracite & other
solid fuels, and can be closed down when burning
,
wood to maximize efficiency.
.
At the top of the door is the most important
control for wood burning. This controls the
.
Secondary Burn and air wash, allowing a carefully
,
measured amount of additional Secondary Air to
enter the stove, completing combustion of un
burnt flue gases.
,
In some models a Tertiary Air inflow is used to
. ,
achieve even higher Net efficiencies.
.
The result is an extremely efficient combustion
,
process, producing high temperatures, with the
,
minimum amount of wood or solid fuel used, that
are maintained by the stove body & firebrick
,
lining, and the use of a flue throat plate in order
,
to optimize gas flow. The retained Heat is
radiated and convected via natural heat flow to
.
the living space or the water heat exchanger in the
case of a high efficiency Ecoboiler Stove.
- Ecoboiler.
& Eco Arada
Furthermore all Arada Stoves & Ecoboilers are
designed for internal home use, thus thermal
,
losses to a boiler room or the environment (which (
can be substantial) are nonexistent or minimized.
) .
The determination by our Engineers to achieve
,
maximum combustion and therefore heating
efficiency also results in low flue emissions and
much less wood needed to achieve heating.
.
The figures below show how inefficient and
damaging to the environment open fireplaces are
in comparison to high efficiency Arada stoves.

Notes.
1. The open fire is calculated as a similar room output
of the stove for direct comparison.
t would be a very large fireplace in order to achieve
8kW of room heating.
2. Usually more than 3 times the amount of wood is
required on an open fireplace to produce the same
heat to room as an efficient wood stove.
3. Low levels of % CO emissions are the CE approved
indication of an almost perfect combustion process &
are directly related to lowest levels of particle
emissions to the environment.
4. The un-burnt particles, emitted as smoke, are
significantly higher in the open fire.
5. The Villager Esprit levels of CO% equate to
particulates of 7.5 grams per hour only! which is
equal to the U.K. DEFRA limits (limits for locations
where no wood burning in open fireplaces is
allowed). The open fire and non CE certified stoves of
uncertain quality are usually at least 3-6 times above
this DEFRA limit.
In order to achieve this high Efficiency & cleaner
closer to perfect controlled burn, Arada Engineers
have incorporated some unique features into the
Arada Stoves, such as : 1) the combination of radiant
& natural flow convection heat, 2) the Primary air
Diversion System (PADS) for optimizing primary
burning air inflow into the heart of the fire
depending if you burn Wood or Solid fuel, 3) the
Flexifuel System : a robust embracing the fuel
riddling grate for various fuels, and 4) Primary,
secondary , air wash (& tertiary for the Esprits)
burning air inflows at different levels of the fire.
