How are pig hearts and human hearts similar? How are they different? Assessment Task Pig Heart Dissection Lab Teacher Task Overview What do you have to do? Follow the correct procedures for dissecting a pig heart. Make comparisons to the human heart.

How will you be assessed? You will be assessed using Criteria D, E and F. When is the task due? We will spend about 3 weeks working on this lab. We should be completely nished with this work before the end of February.

Purpose of investigation is recognized and an attempt was made to articulate the research question. A simple hypothesis is formed and explained using scientific reasoning. Relevant variables are identified along with attempted explanations of how to manipulate them. With guidance, comments are made regarding reliability or validity of methods.
