Documents one and two show that one of the causes of the revolution was the fight over the
rights of slaves in Haiti.
Documents 3 and 6 show the effects of the Haitian Revolution. They show that one of the
effects wsa that other countries became worried that their own slaves would revolt and so
they responded negatively to Haiti.
