he had seen on July 31, 1883, in the hands of Quaritch in London, and in his catalogue of Greek Gospel cursives, but
Professor Gregory had informed me that he understood there was a Greek manuscript of the Gospels at St. Louis, and on seeing it he at once wrote me of its identification, at the same time suggesting to
Mr. Bixby that it be sent to Chicago for more detailed examination. Mr. Bixby kindly consented and a few months later put the manuscript
