PREFACE
Engineering is not only theoretical study but it is an implementation of all we study for creating something new and making things more easy and useful through practical study. It is an art, which can be gained with systematic study, observation and practice. In the college curriculum, we usually get the theoretical knowledge of the industries, and a little bit of implementation knowledge that how it works. But how can we prove our practical knowledge to increase out productivity or efficiency of the industry? To overcome such problems, we the students of NIT Srinagar, Srinagar are making a project on ONLINE TENDER MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

(OTMS)

It is an Web Application for applying, processing the tenders and documentations, corrigendum. In this India is divided in 5 parts Northern Region (NR), Eastern Region(ER), Western Region (WR), Southern Region(SR) and North-East Region(NER). It is being used all across over the India for connecting the all villages, cities, towns to each other for better future.

Objective

18

A Tender Process is a method by which suppliers are selected for the provision of products and services to an organization. The process involves creating a suite of Tender Documents to manage the supplier selection process. The Tender Documents help the organization to select the best possible supplier available, and include documents such as the "Statement of Work", "Request for Information" and "Request for Proposal". When do I use a Tender Process? If you want to appoint an external supplier, then you need to document a formal Invitation to Tender Process. By using a formal tender process, you can show that the preferred supplier was selected fairly. This Tender Process includes all of the steps needed to select and contract external suppliers, quickly and efficiently.
