Getting to Macau Macau International Airport


Macau International Airport (MFM) is a convenient three-tofive-hour flight from most major Asian hubs, including Beijing, Shanghai, Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Bangkok, Tokyo, Taipei and Seoul. Upon arrival, board a complimentary Sands Cotai Central shuttle (available from 9 a.m. to midnight) to the Cotai Strip, which takes just 10 minutes. Alternatively, pick up a local taxi at the airport's taxi rank.

Hong Kong International Airport


Hong Kong International Airport (HKG) is an equally convenient entry point, with no need to stop at customs and immigration or reclaim baggage until you arrive in Macau. Travel by CotaiJet high-speed catamaran directly from the airport and youll reach Macau in less than an hour. Ferries are also available from Shenzhen Bao'an International Airport (SZX) to Macau. Or, to really arrive in style, board a helicopter at Hong Kong Island's ferry terminal for a thrilling 15-minute ride or at Shenzhen Bao'an International Airport for a 15-to-25-minute journey.

CotaiJet and other high-speed catamarans connect the Cotai Strip with Hong Kong Island and Kowloon ferry terminals in around an hour, operating on a regular basis throughout the day and night. Ferries are also available between Shenzhen, Zhuhai and Guangzhou (Nansha). Upon arrival in Macau, a complimentary Sands Cotai Central shuttle (available from 9 a.m. to midnight) will take you to the hotel, so we'll be welcoming you in no time.

Shuttle buses
Complimentary Sands Cotai Central shuttle buses run from 9 a.m. to midnight and are available from all border points to the hotel to make your journey hassle-free. You can reach the Cotai Strip from Zhuhai in Mainland China via the Gongbei border gate, 15 minutes from the center of the action. Alternatively, enter Macau via the Cotai Frontier Post using the Lotus Bridge, just 10 minutes from Sheraton Macao Hotel. Macau currently has no rail service, but most major cities in Mainland China connect with Guangzhou, Shenzhen, or Hong Kong, where you can travel onwards to Macau by coach, ferry or helicopter. Air-conditioned buses operate between Macau and major cities in Guangdong Province and are available from 7:15 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. daily.
