Welcome to Your Mathematical Journey

ello students and welcome to your Algebra 2 class! I am excited for this coming year of working with you in developing and improving your skills in mathematics. I have been teaching math for two years now here at Colorado Springs Cougars High School. During that time, I have taught a number of math classes such as Geometry, Pre-Calculus, as well and Algebra 1 and Algebra 2. I graduated from CSU San Marcos with a BS in Mathematics and earned my teaching credential there as well. We have many goals planned this year but I assure you that it will be a year to remember! At the end of the school year, we will be able to compute inequalities, graph functions, solve quadratic equations, solve geometry and measurement problems, and we will even touch on graphing things in 3D! Whether math is your strong point or not, I hope that you will enjoy this class as I will make it a fun and exciting experience. My ultimate goal is to prepare you for pre-calculus, which is the successor of this course. I hop you fully enjoy this course!
