Condition
External shell plating & coating The external shell plating is in general good condition as far as it could be seen. There are scattered small soft indentations and rusty spots around the shell plating. The coating of the topside is generally in fair condition. No significant corrosion or damage was observed. Weather deck & fittings Weather deck plating, bulwarks, guard rails, deck piping, etc, are generally in satisfactory condition. No significant damage was noticed, only fewl spots of corrosion were noticed on the weather deck . Deck plating found generally in sound condition. Windlasses, bits and fairleads found in maintained general good condition. Deck plating found generally in sound condition. Capstans, bits and fairleads found in maintained general good condition. Plating is found generally in sound condition and well maintained. Load line marks are properly painted. Vent pipes, sounding pipes, watertight/weathertight openings, scuppers were found maintained in general good condition.

She is designed with 5 cargo holds with hydraulically operated hatch covers. Found maintained in general good condition Paint condition is fair to good Hatch covers are steel folding type, single skinned panels , hydraulically operated . Hatch coaming tables and stays are maintained in good condition. Compression bars, cleats, wheels, etc are maintained in general good condition. Rubber packing is almost new with negligible permanent imprint. No. 1 cargo hold has two hatch covers (2 panels Fwd. + 1 panel aft) Nos. 2, 3, 4 & 5 cargo holds have two hatch covers (2 panels Fwd. + 2 panel aft) N/A

All cargo holds were inspected empty and clean. The cargo holds were maintained in general good condition. The internal shell plating with its attached frames were observed to be in general overall Good condition. No significant corrosion or damage was noticed in all cargo hold. Painting condition on side shell plating was found Good. Corrugated Watertight bulkheads, frames, Stool plating were found maintained in good condition. No significant corrosion or damage was noticed in all cargo hold. Painting condition was found to be generally Good with less than 2% peeling of due to residual previous cargo (sugar) melting down in way of connection between the underdeck members and the bulkheads.

Coatings
The coating was found to be maintained in general good condition. No significant signs of corrosion/pitting were observed in all cargo holds N/A Generally found to be maintained in satisfactory condition. Soft buckling was observed on tank top plating located between the under tank top longitudinal framing essentially due to cumulative cargo operation. No significant structural damage was observed. Hold bilges were inspected internally and found to be sound but corroded. No means of corrosion prevention have been applied to them. N/A Access hatches are in sound condition. FORE PEAK TANK Plating was found maintained in general good condition. Scattered superficial rust spots were observed but no hard scale was found. No structural damage or excessive wastage was observed. There is superficial rust on frames, bulkheads, etc, but no significant corrosion or damage was observed. Boiler
The boiler is of a composite type. Boiler found operational. It was reported that all its safeties and shutdowns were operational. Its foundations were found sound with no signs of corrosion. To the extend that was possible, valve connections and valves were found in apparent good external condition. All easing gear connection were found maintained in good order.

F - CONCLUSION
The vessel is generally structualy sound. 2012 due to unavailability of Drydock in the area for the completion of Special Surveys Hull and Machinery. No Condition of Class is imposed by BV Class.
All Certificates are valid. They have been extended by BV Class until 20 April
Lifesaving appliances and firefighting equipment are of an approved type and in Accommodation was found in general good condition internally and externally.
Cabins and Mess Rooms are spacious, comfortable, clean and tidy.
Weather deck plating, bulwarks, guard rails, vent pipes, sounding pipes,
watertight openings, deck piping, etc, are generally in satisfactory condition. No significant damage or corrosion was noticed except for the weather deck which shows spots of corrosion.
Windlass, anchors, chains, fairleads, bits, etc are generally in satisfactory condition. There is a spare propeller on board. scattered small indentations and rusty spots on the topside. The coating of the topside is generally in good condition. No significant corrosion or damage was observed. shell plating with its attached frames were observed to be in general overall Good condition. TST 3 Stbd. And Aft Peak. Structurally, all inspected tanks were found in general sound condition. These tanks were found with anode protection. The effectiveness of their coating was as follow: Fore Peak Tank: FAIR o 60% Top Tank Area o 80% Mid and bottom tank areas TST 3 Port: FAIR to GOOD o 90% overall TST 3 Stbd.: FAIR o 70% overall Aft Peak Tank: FAIR o 70% overall
The engine room was found clean and tidy with no signs of leakages. From the
records reviewed, it seems well maintained as per the maintenance plan and as per the manufacturers recommendations. Main Engine was found in general external good condition with no signs of leaks. The engine was not tested at this time but a review of its running data showed that all parameters were within the manufacturer recommendation. A review of the maintenance record has shown that there are no overdue items. The three (3) Auxilliary Engines were found in general external good condition with no signs of leaks. Both A/E # 2 & 3 were seen under load. A review of their running data showed that all parameters were within the manufacturer recommendation.
