Visual Testing Level I and II

Course Description
This is a Certification course according to ASNT Recommended Practice SNT-TC-1A-2006 Edition. The course covers both theory and the hands-on training covering the syllabus topics recommended by American Society of Non-destructive Testing for Level I and II certification in Visual Testing. The course is meant for working professionals in NDT field. In the field of NDT, certification is very important because NDT personnel are often making critical judgments that can have safety and/or significant financial consequences. The certification presents objective evidence of the knowledge and skill level of the individual performing an inspection. Level II professionals should be able to set up and calibrate equipment, conduct the inspection according to procedures, interpret, evaluate and document the test results. They will be tested to demonstrate their ability to perform these functions in visual Testing. For certification to Levels II each candidate will be given a general, a specific, and a practical, examination which he must complete with a passing grade of 70 percent for each exam and a composite grade of 80 percent (determined by averaging the results of the three exams).
