oil price of Indian Basket declines to US$ 107.58/bbl on 07.03.2013 The international crude oil price of Indian Basket as computed/published today by the Petroleum Planning and Analysis Cell (PPAC) under the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas went down to US$ 107.58/barrel (bbl) on 07.03.2013. This was lower than the price of US$ 107.99/bbl prevailing on the previous trading day of 06.03.2013.

In rupee terms, also the crude oil price declined to Rs 5888.93/bbl on 07.03.2013 as compared to Rs 5908.13/bbl on 06.03.2013. This was due to fall in price in dollar terms. The rupee-dollar exchange rate on 07.03.2013 at Rs 54.74/US$ against Rs 54.71/US$ on previous trading day of 06.03.2013. The table below gives details in this regard
