American Medical Response Names New CEO for East Region EMS provider taps NH native to lead commitment

to superior service (Greenwood Village, CO) March 11, 2013American Medical Response (AMR) announced today the appointment of Thomas McEntee as the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for the East Region. The New Hampshire native most recently served as the General Manager for AMRs Riverside County California EMS Operation. During his time there, he also served on several special project teams for AMR focused on improving operational practices and performance. McEntee first became involved with EMS in New Hampshire as a hometown volunteer EMT and has been involved in ambulance services now for three decades. Since 2007, McEntee has been an executive with American Medical Response. I am eager to return home to serve the communities of the East Region, especially my home area of New England, said McEntee. It is a great honor to lead the East Region AMR team as we continue to focus on attracting and retaining the best people in the industry, and providing the superior care and service to our communities. McEntee has served on the Board of Directors for the American Ambulance Association (AAA) for several years and is a past president of the New Hampshire Ambulance Association. As a frequent presenter at national EMS conferences on leadership, ambulance service reimbursement, and strategic planning for EMS operations, McEntee is well known and highly regarded in the industry.
