All bona fide students and regular faculty members of HAU may avail of the library privileges upon

presentation of a valid ID. A Special library card may be granted to ALUMNI of the University but availment of the library collection is for Room Use Only, from Monday to Friday 8:00am 5:00pm and on SATURDAYS from 8:00am- 12:00nn / 1:00 5:00pm. Visiting Researchers be accommodated upon presentation of an updated referral letter coming from the originating schools head librarian and a valid ID for students or from the office heads for professionals. A. Loan Period A maximum of five(5) circulation books maybe borrowed by undergraduate students for three(3) days, seven(7) for 4th year and graduating students, seven(7) for graduate school students and ten(10) for faculty. Circulation books maybe borrowed by Faculty and Graduate School students for a period of two (2)weeks. Two (2) reserve books maybe borrowed for overnight. No loans maybe allowed when any of the books on loan is not returned on due dates. Loan period for books for home use closes two (2) weeks before the start of the final examinations. A book loan or borrowed for three (3) days or one week is non-renewable if it is the only copy available for others to use the same. It maybe borrowed again three (3) days after it has been returned. Alumni, former faculty and staff of HAU, private researchers and students from other schools have Library Room-Use privileges. Currently employed non-teaching staff of HAU can avail of the easy reading materials housed in the Browsing Corner for home-use up to one (1) week. B. The library collections include foreign and local materials both in print and non-print. These materials can be accessed through the online catalog. Internet services, Electronic Journal Databases, E-books, Newspapers in DVDs, and CD-ROMs are also available.
