Literature Review
The assigned project is an outcome of the surveys on different companies and their employers preferred competencies for business graduate recruitment. The main purpose of the survey is to find what competencies an applicant should while recruitment. Competencies are the demonstrable characteristics of an employee, including knowledge, skill and attitude that enable performance. The assigned project helped to understand that competencies are the combination of knowledge, skill and attitude. The project was to survey on 5 different domestic and multinational companies and find out what sort of competencies they focus on and how do they rank them. From our survey, we came to know that these companies such as: Singer Bangladesh Ltd, SanofiAventis Bangladesh Ltd, Airtel, Exim Bank and Square Pharmaceuticals focus on different competencies like interpersonal skills, decisions skills, information role, and personal values and characteristics. The purpose of this survey was to find out how do these companies emphasize or rank these competencies according to their employers preference. Different companies rank them in different numbers. That means in some companies they are most preferred, in some they are least. The purpose of the project found out to be a successful one because; competencies are useful understanding how the knowledge skill and attitudes combine to influence job performance.

Executive Summery
At present time there are many MNCs who have started their activities and many more are showing interest to do business in Bangladesh. Most of these MNCs need to hire business graduates from the top level to bottom; in every level of the hierarchy. These MNCs are from different industries and they highly differ from each other in many aspects. As the activities are different, the requirement of these MNCs is also different in manner. Keeping this on mind, employers from these MNCs have their own preferred competencies to recruit business graduates. This study is based on the preferred competencies of 5 top MNCs of Bangladesh to recruit business graduates. This assignment includes complete study on what is preferred and why that is preferred to hire business graduates in 5 top MNC in Bangladesh named: Singer Bangladesh Ltd, Sanofi-Aventis Bangladesh Ltd, Square Pharmaceuticals, Airtel Bangladesh and Exim Bank. To prepare this assignment a survey has been conducted on the employers preference o competencies or skills to recruit business graduates. The employers preferred business graduates educational institution, gender, specialized subject and graduation completion score is collected. Based on that what interpersonal skill and decision skills is necessary and complete interpretation of each response are discussed in the assignment. Moreover, what informational role they want to be played and personal values & characteristics are necessary is also been identified in details in the report. All the MNCs are from different industries which also ensure the reliability of the study. So, this study will help to get the clear scenario to understand what the business graduates required to be recruited by MNCs in Bangladesh.
