Installation by CD-ROM
To install the ADSL2+ router, you can run the Starter Kit CD-ROM and follow the instructions. The following table describes the meaning of the LEDs.

Verifying Network Settings


1. After connecting all cables, run the ADSL2+ router for 1–2 minutes.
2. Verify the network settings of your PC as follows:
On the Windows desktop, click Start > Setting > Network Connection and then
double-click Local Area Connection.
3. Choose the support tab to view the IP address of the PC.
The correct IP address should be in the range of 192.168.1.2 – 192.168.1.254.

Installing the ADSL2+ Router by CD-ROM
1. Insert the Starter Kit CD-ROM into the CD-ROM drive of your PC.
2. Wait until you see the dialog box as shown in Figure(2) is displayed automatically.
3. Choose English language from the Language list-down box at the upper right
corner of the dialog box.

Troubleshooting

If there is any problem with the ADSL2+ router, try the following operations to fix the problem:

1. Make sure that all the cables and the power adapter are conected properly.
2. Make sure that the TCP/IP settings of your PC are correct.
That is, the PC is set to obtain an IP address automatically from the DNS server.

5. Click Next>> in each of the following pages until you are asked to enter your
username and password. See Figure(3).
6. Enter your username and password provided by TT&T, and click save

The program will set up the ADSL2+ router and connect to the Internet

automatically. Then you can surf the Internet as you wish.

Verifying Network Settings
The ADSL2+ router is pre-configured by TT&T for all internet services. You can check all the
settings manually at any time if needed. You can verify the network settings by selecting the Status tab of the web setup page. See

Troubleshooting

If there is any problem with the ADSL2+ router, try the same operations described previously to
