Indian Staffing Federation announces the appointment of Rufina Fernandes as its Chief Executive Officer
Delhi, March 15, 2013: Indian Staffing Federation (ISF), an apex body of staffing companies in India comprising more than 30 key players from the staffing industry has appointed Ms Rufina Fernandes as its CEO. Industry veteran Ms Fernandes appointment is a further reiteration of ISFs commitment towards establishment of flexi-staffing as an effective way of running a business. Ms Rufina Fernandes has over 26 plus years in varied areas of handling business, running an organisation and managing operations. She was the Business Head of EnTeEf, a technology platform for schools management with VBHC Education Services, Bangalore, before serving as Sr. Vice - President at Crest Animation Studios, Mumbai. Prior to this, Rufina headed NASSCOM Foundation for over 5 years as CEO. Her 13 year stint with GTL group handling multiples roles including CSR, Corporate Communications and Strategic Initiatives has given her an overall exposure in managing external affairs of an organization. Announcing Ms Rufinas appointment, Mr K Pandia Rajan, President, Indian Staffing Federation, said, As we witness the rapid and promising growth of flexi staffing in Indian companies, we see ourselves playing a crucial role in this emerging trend. Her exposure to the development and corporate sector has placed Rufina perfectly to further ISF's mission to provide a platform for India's emerging workforce.
