Lesson topic: Genitive apostrophe s Type of lesson: grammar lesson Teacher: School: Vocabulary: all and none (general) Grammar: Genitive apostrophe Main focus: to use the genitive apostrophe correctly both with singular and plural nouns. Objectives: A) Cognitive objectives: by the end of the lesson Ss will have: 1) described people; 2) used s genitive; 3) used adjectives and colors; 4) developed their writing skills; 5) developed their speaking skills. B) Affective objectives: 1) to create a warm atmosphere in order to offer the background for smooth, easy conversations between teacher and students; 2) to make students confident in themselves when speaking a foreign language. Skills: listening, speaking, reading, writing Interaction: T- Ss, S-S, Ss-Ss, PW, GW, IW Assumed knowledge: Anticipated problems: - if she thinks it is necessary, the teacher will offer the students guidance in solving certain exercises; - some Ss might have problems when working in pairs; - a few among the Ss may be given supplementary explanations in Romanian.
