Subject: Appeal to the Chief Justice to give some attention on energy generation in Pakistan

Respected Sir, It is inform you that Electricity is a basic need for sustaining human life. Looking at it from an economic growth perspective of a country, the creation of energy is very essential. Pakistan however has been facing an acute shortage of electricity for many years now (since 2007). Electricity crisis and load shedding reaches to 10hours in Karachi. In commercial and residential areas of Karachi load shedding up to 10 hours continues however in industrial areas load shedding up to 8 hours continues. Spokesman KESC said that on better supply of gas load shedding likely to be reduced because of dispute of SUI Northern Gas Company and KESC people are in a pitiable condition. People said that dispute always between institutes and their result faced by other people. Due to continuous load shedding people are also facing problem of water deficit, however load shedding to 8 hours in industrial zone has badly affected that sector also. The increasing load shedding in Karachi is having adverse effects on almost all walks of life but a major impact is visible in the provision of primary health care services. The population of Karachi has reached about 20 millions. A significant number of people live in less privileged areas and belong to the poor and middle classes. It is a historically proven fact that where there is justice there is prosperity and where there is injustice there is poverty. When we look back at the golden era of Islam, this statement becomes more relevant and true. It seems that our country is on it's way towards prosperity and development because our judiciary is getting it's roots back. The reinstatement of Chief Justice after the vigorous struggle of lawyers of our country, gave a new shape to the judiciary of our country. Because of this decision, new life has been infused into the judiciary of our country, and it has taken a new turning point. Some of the bold and decisive decisions taken by the supreme court. Through these lines I appeal to the Chief justice of Pakistan to take Suo moto action against KESC or energy Generation Deparrtments to redress the grievances of the people of Karachi. From, Yours sincerely, Hira Karachi, Pakistan
