Rumor has it that some people out there forgot that 4x4 vehicles are meant for off-road, not just highway commutes. That's why we created the Jeep Trail Rated system. It's proof that every Jeep Liberty 4x4 can capably handle brutal tests for Traction, Articulation, Ground Clearance, Maneuverability, and Water Fording.

Traversing deep water can cause damage, which voids the vehicle warranty. Always off-road responsibility in approved areas.

AMPLE GROUND CLEARANCE

At curb weight, Liberty delivers an impressive 9.4 inches of ground clearance, 37.2 approach angle, a 31.5 departure angle and a breakover angle of 21.8.

GROUND CLEARANCE TRACTION

Liberty Sport 4X4 comes standard with the Command-Trac part-time 4WD system. Liberty gets great traction through mud, sand, loose gravel and mountainous terrain because of this legendary 4x4 system.

ENGINE
