Computer Hardware Servicing NC II This certification covers basic and common competencies such as installing, maintaining, configuring, and diagnosing computer systems and networks. The Training Plan Things to be done: o Conduct training/review in preparation for the CHS NC II assessment that includes: Review on workplace ethics and general occupational health and safety Review on the basic PC hardware and network components. Review on PC troubleshooting, maintenance and setup.

Hands-on training on PC disassembly/reassembly, PC system setup, disk and OS preparation, network cabling, LAN setup, etc. Assessment simulations patterned after TESDA assessment will be done as culminating activity. Training will be conducted on a 2 hours/week or 3 hours per week or 4 hours per week session basis depending on agreed preferred time. Training will be focused on three (3) major assessments namely: written, oral questioning and practical hands-on tests. Consultations can be done at any convenient time. Training venue will be at the SIM LAB and/or on any approved Computer Labs
