Justice is, the quality of being fair; righteousness, equitableness, or moral rightness. In simple words, justice circulates around good virtue and the act of administering deserved punishment or reward to those, who have earned it. Most people have a positive perception of justice and view it as being fair. When something is done wrong, the wrongdoer is then fairly punished to create justice. In the streets some may summarize justice behind thee slogan, You do the crime you pay the time! The problem in my eyes is that most people dont understand the simple fact that the justice system isnt actually fair. To really be fair, it means you have to abide by the rules and be unbiased. Most important there must always be consistency. Justice cannot falter because of variations in situations that seem to call for exceptions but rather must remain rock solid in execution at all times because the justice present today is the same justice existent tomorrow.

Should it be considered fair if someone gets punched and cannot punch back because it is against the rules and regulations, or should that someone be allowed to punch back to make it equal? Punching back is not a morally correct thing to do, but it would be considered justice because it is an equal punishment. You hit me, I hit back. This goes back to An eye for an eye. Supposedly Justice is blind. But why is the system so corrupted? When it comes down to justice we were basically told that We should all believe that a judge and jury is the perfect tool to illuminate what is fair in every situation. And because of that we should all obey the laws of society and leave the enforcing of those laws up to the court system. Well I have seen the lie in this philosophy too many times to accept it as truth. The concept of justice is one that I find to be quite opinionated because it relies on those with power to make decision based on peoples opinion. It should be matter of what is right and wrong, but more than often, it is not. In todays world, it is very difficult to get justice because there is more often injustice. Every day there are many cases that go to jury. People look for justice, but because of the lack of

evidence innocent people do not get the justice that they seek. More often people who are not innocent escape somehow and never are punished. The way I take it, there is not an agreeable set definition. I think that the meaning of justice is still prevalent in the society of today, looking at the different ways Justice is brought and used throughout society. I have seen and heard through new and media, many different examples of justice in our society, but for the most part they are not similar or set in all ways. There is no question that still to this day, the justice system needs improvement. Questions like "can this system work for every crime? Or" are there too many exceptions?" Need to be brought up and answered. A system that can change one's life forever should have as little mistakes as possible. It must consist of as little opinions as possible. Facts and pure facts coincided with fortified rules should be the basis of the justice system. Not even a little bit of emotion should be involved when it comes to justice because then the justice system would go nowhere productive. In conclusion, people who need justice they do not get justice and those people fight trying to get justice for their entire life. Most of the criminal escape from it and they still out there and make another crime and escape again. We have law in our society but most of the people do not follow the laws completely. Justice is something that should be taken seriously on extreme levels. Whether people want to accept it or not, justice plays a major role in the everyday life in society and with such a role, major concern should be attributed. I, along with others, should have no need to think on whether our justice system is fair or not but instead it should be a definite. That definite should be in a justice system that is fair with no room for doubt.
