Moving Towards Modern

Feel like youre ready for a different statement? This popular workshop offers modern (new!) concepts and methods for seeing, designing and creating successful abstract paintings, or adding abstract elements to your style for a new way of presenting your favorite subjects. This workshops offers a balance of demo, lecture and practice. A past student said, I learned more in three days than in an entire semester with some others. The exercises were clear and concise, and the explanations of timeless lessons rang true, finally. Kens main interest in watercolor is in the exploration of color, pattern and expressive painting, and is equally at home with representational, abstract painting, traditional and more experimental techniques. Ken Austin is a signature member of the National Watercolor Society and the Florida Watercolor Society.

STUDENT CANCELLATION: There is a $50 cancellation charge which will be assessed if you cancel more than 30 days before the workshop begins. Due to committed expenses on behalf of EAC, there will be no refund if canceling less than 30 days prior to the beginning of the workshop. You might want to consider cancellation insurance. EAC CANCELLATION: We reserve the right to cancel a workshop at any time for good cause: lack of sign-ups, illness of instructor, extreme weather conditions, etc. If we do cancel a workshop, we will refund your entire payment. We will not be responsible for any other expense you may incur.
