Sex is an act created by God, and is a holy union reserved exclusively for a husband and a
wife. As a creation of God, the sexual encounter reveals the invisible attributes of God, namely His divine nature and His eternal power. As such, when believers contemplate the splendor of the sexual union, it should prompt them to contemplate the brilliance of God, the divine Creator of this precious gift.

Sex reveals the goodness and kindness of a loving God. It is evidence of His thoughtfulness
in creating man and woman, and the physical union between husbands and wives. It is an incomparable pleasure that serves as His gift to married couples, and should be enjoyed openly before Him as such.

Sex points to the necessity of a wise and magnificent Creator in that He has precisely

designed the human body, male and female, to function in perfect unity in order to support an immensely enjoyable sexual experience.

human life, therefore perpetuating His likeness upon the Earth. While all animals reproduce, it is only through the offspring of man and woman that the sacred masterpiece of creation bearing Gods image is perpetuated.

Sex reveals the image of God in man in that He has given mankind the capacity to create

Sex is the sacrificial giving of ones body for the good and pleasure of another, and is
therefore a shadow of Jesus giving of his own body for the love and sake of his Bride.

Sex between a husband and wife provides an exhibition of willful harmony rarely

apprehended within the relational world, and exceeded only by that purest of harmony and oneness portrayed in the living relationship of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

The very essence of the sexual relationship between a husband and wife is that of worship.

If the chief aim of this sacred act is anything less than loving God and loving neighbor (worship) then the act itself becomes reduced to mere selfishness. Believers, of all people, are privileged to connect with the Divine Creator, by offering their bodies for His glory, and for the love of another, through the sacred, God-ordained experience of sexual pleasure and unity! Praise Him!
