Conceptualized and implemented an industry certification program for the National Mobility Equipment Dealers Association (NMEDA) that accomplished the following 3 items: 1) Produced $700,000+ in revenues annually; 2) Expanded customer base by more than 300 clients; 3) Developed relationships and created buy-in by state and private funding agencies with the trade association. Additionally, experienced making formal presentations at annual trade show. Transitioned the company from approximately 60% revenue dependency from one industry to a balanced mix of new business markets adding more than 400 new accounts that generated more than $1.6 million in annual gross revenues. Developed and directed an industry certification program for the National Mobility Equipment Dealers Association (NMEDA) for vehicle modifications for disabled drivers. Worked with OEMs: Chrysler, Ford, GM, Honda and Toyota. Made formal presentations on behalf of industry to state and federal government entities and private funding agencies. Conducted classroom training and field training/updating audits with field auditors in industries within which company worked: plastics, gypsum, mobility equipment, house-wrap, synthetic stucco, cement, vinyl decking and siding, unlisted gas appliances, wood-burning pizza ovens, fiberglass pools, highway light pole anchors, construction anchors, etc. Served as a back-up field auditor to handle overflow work when field auditors were committed to special projects. Serve as chairman for the American Society of Testing Materials (ASTM) subcommittee on geofoam and chaired the five year development of the D-6817 Geofoam Standard. Member of four other ASTM subcommittees. Exhibited at various industry trade shows, regular guest speaker/presenter, and sponsored industry 5K runs.
