An Associate Institute of University of Hyderabad. Hyderabad Supported by Indian Pharma Conglomerate DR. REDDYS. 58 publications, 17 patents (3 PCT), 30+ 30 on going research projects funded by CSIR, DBT, DST, DAE, NICC, NIHR and CDRI. Auspices of few incubated companies Cosmic Discoveries, Novitas Research Laboratories, PharmaKodynE Biosciences,, Zephase Therapeutics and Signmod Therapeutics. Therapeutics 35 PhD students and 31 project trainees currently working. More than 50 students trained previously and 77% of them placed
in academia and industry globally.

The Concept
Institute of Life Sciences, Hyderabad has strategic relations with many pharmaceutical companies. Our experience at ILS tells us that academicians and industry counterparts find difficulty in engaging in each other for various aspects due difference of culture & aspirations. At ILS, we wish to address this gap as we have the right blend of people from academia and industry which has helped us develop a unique culture. As a part of our commitment, this finishing school is being launched to equip students and job-aspirants with technical and soft skills and transforming them into employable candidates for industry and academia. Our initiative supports human resource requirements of companies and academic institutions in India and abroad. An integral part of our finishing school experience is placement assistance which is crucial to ensuring that both the job-aspirant and the employer are benefited .

About the Program

The program aims at providing students a best in class finishing school that would assist them to enhance employability and offer a pedestal to reach out industry and academia for higher studies. 9 Months Research Project:
Training under experienced scientists from Industry & Academia. Carrying out a Research Project Independently. Experimental Design, Biostatistics, Data Interpretation and Writing. Hands-on exposure to equipment and experiments. Opportunity to publish in reputed peer-reviewed journals.

Soft Skills Training:

Good Laboratory Practices & Intellectual Property Rights Time Management, Project Management, Presentation Skills
