Micro-Generation Connection (MGC) Application

For Connection of Micro-Generation Facilities of 10 kW

This form is applicable to individual or multiple generating units at the Customers facility with total nameplate rating of 10 kW or less. Your generation facility must generate electricity from a renewable energy source that is wind, water, solar radiation, or agricultural biomass. Inverter-based generating units must not inject DC greater than 0.5% of the full rated output current at the point of connection of the generating units. The generated harmonic levels must not exceed those given in the CAN/CSA-C61000-3-6 Standards. Refer to Distributed Generation Technical Interconnection Requirements - Interconnections at Voltages 50kV and Below (http://www.hydroonenetworks.com/en/customers/generators/generation_connections/distribution/stakeholder_consultation/default.asp For generation size up to 10 kW, a Connection Impact Assessment will not be required and Entegrus Powerlines will not perform such an assessment. There may be a limitation on the number of microgeneration facilities that can be connected to the same distribution feeder. IMPORTANT: All fields below are mandatory, except where noted. Incomplete applications may be returned by Entegrus Powerlines. Please return the completed form by mail or email to: Entegrus Powerlines Attn: MicroFIT Connections 320 Queen ST. Chatham, Ontario N7M 5K2 Email: matthew.meloche@entegrus.com Telephone: 519-352-6300 x 290 (1-866-804-7325) NOTE: Applicants are cautioned NOT to incur major expenses until Entegrus Powerlines approves to connect the proposed generation facility. The following information is required for all generators with total generation of up to 10 kW. Date of Application microFIT reference number*
